What makes a good hamburger patty
I'm waiting I'm amazed,I watched the juices flowing out of the burgers and into the tray and thought "here we go again For not the first time in my life, I was wrong. A very pleasant juicy burger. I wonder which ingredient or combination thereof keeps the juices in?

I have to agree with some of the other reviewers who don't like bread crumbs in their burgers, I find that the store bought bread crumbs change the taste and texture of the burgers and not for the better. I've even found that I can mix these up, shape into patties, and freeze them raw just like this, on a cookie sheet. When they're frozen solid, I toss 'em in a ziplog bag and keep them in the freezer for up to six months. When I want a burger on a rainy day, a wintry day, or just one at a time, I mist a frying pan with cooking spray and cook about 7 minutes per side. They come out just as good as when they're freshly made!

The burger had a taste akin to meatloaf rather than a classic burger off the grill. Mega - never found a good recipe so have always winged it with mixed results. Made this few times now and love them. Very good recipe for burgers i suggest adding minced green bell peppers to the burger mix.

We love it. I add some other spices on occasion but this is a great base recipe. They tasted incredible.
Hi Rebekah, I saw your comment about losing the contents of your fridge after a hurricane. First time ever grilling Hamburgers and they were amazing! I heated our pellet grill to degrees and smoked the burgers 10 min. Then I heated up the pellet grill to degrees added BBQ sauce and cheese then cooked the burgers for 5 min. The burgers came out perfect! This recipe is an amateurish joke. Although I respect your opinion, even good ground beef without ample seasoning is just boring.
The crushed crackers in the recipe make the burger texture soft and moist. They help hold in the fats and seasoning for the best overall flavor. Why not give it a try? What an insult haha!

It was easy and tasty. In fact, they were so delicious, my husband had seconds, despite his resolution to only have one.
SOOO delicious! These burgers are easy to make but very tasty. These burgers were better than my usual combination, but there was too strong of a breadcrumb taste. It distracted from the meat flavor. Almost tasted more like meatloaf than a burger. Next time I make these, I am going to cut the breadcrumb amount in half.

Use a spoon to press a dent in the center of each patty so they don't puff up as they cook. If you need to stack the patties separate them with a sheet of wax paper. Preheat the grill or a skillet to medium heat. Approximately degrees F. For thick patties: Grill or fry the patties for minutes per side. For thin patties: Cook on the griddle for 2 minutes per side.
Stack the hot patties on hamburgers buns, and top with your favorite hamburgers toppings. Serve warm.
