Why is bonjour not working

Fortunately, the Bonjour Service errors in Windows 10 can be fixed. Step 1: Go to Start and type Services in the search field. Step 2: Left-click on the result to open the Service manager window. Step 4: Double-click on it to open the Bonjour Service Properties dialogue box. Under the General tab, navigate to Startup type and set the field to Automatic.

Exit the services window and try opening the application where you saw the error, it should work fine now. If you want to use Bonjour service on Windows 10 or on any PC, you will need to download it. It comes with some Apple software, like Safari or iTunes, which you can download and extract Bonjour from the installer file.

Once installed, Bonjour will run in the background as a service. If you have no Apple devices in your workplace or household, or are dealing with a Bonjour service error, however, you may not need Bonjour and want to uninstall it. It can be uninstalled like any other application on Windows, or temporarily disabled via Task Manager.

Locate Bonjour and select the option to uninstall it. Keep in mind that uninstalling or disabling Bonjour may cause errors in apps that depend on it, like the copy of iTunes on your Windows PC. I'll look at Webroot and the Windows Firewall. I don't know much about how they interact. And what about Windows Defender? I'm pretty clueless on what it does.
